🙏 Prayer
God who will not be separated from us
Give us the gift of knowing Christ’s presence
That we might be made whole in Him
Amen
📖 Scripture
Read these words slowly.
Be attentive to what Spirit may be saying
to you, personally and directly, today.
John 1:14
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Romans 8:38-39
I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
💡 Quote
I believe it’s all a school. And it’s all a school of love. And everything is a lesson—everything. Every day, every moment, every visit to the grocery store, every moment of our so-ordinary life is meant to reveal, “My God, I’m a daughter of God! I’m a son of the Lord! I’m a sibling of Christ! It’s all okay. I’m already home free! There’s no place I have to go. I’m already here!”

🧘♀️ Reflection
In Jesus’ birth, we receive this gospel: God is with us.
And in the person of Jesus, we receive this gospel: there is no separation between God and humanity.
The new and greater Adam, Jesus lives as God intended for us to live — in perfect union with God.
An anxious life of striving for validation becomes a grateful life lived from validation. From the beginning God has desired, and still desires, our oneness with God.
🕊️ Blessing
As the angels announced to the shepherds
May you hear in the middle of your night watch
There is no separation between you and God!
Even if we should insist there is no room,
He arrives in the quiet Bethlehem of our hearts
Nothing will keep the love of God from drawing near.
Praise be to God.
Amen
