🙏 Invocation
God you are present in as ordinary a space as a gardener tending to his garden at the start of the week. Just another Monday. And yet. Another holy sacred space of hearing your voice and knowing your embrace. Come Holy Spirit. Give me eyes to see — you are indeed risen and present all around me. Amen.
📖 Lectio Divina
Read these words slowly. May they be an on-ramp to hearing a Living Word from God, addressed personally to you.
John 20v13-14
13 They asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?”
“They have taken my Lord away,” she said, “and I don’t know where they have put him.”
14 At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus.
🖼️ Reflection
The distance between God and ourselves is revelation.
Overwhelmed in sadness, Mary does not realize Jesus is already in dialogue with her.
You know the story. She thinks he’s the gardener. But when Jesus addresses her by name, Mary knows immediately. She shouts, “Teacher!” And embraces him.
This is a life of resurrection. Living with a continual awareness of the Risen Christ addressing us by name.
A life lived in simple profound mindfulness of God-With-Me is not only a spiritual practice, it is the height of human existence.
What does it look like to live this day hearing the Risen Christ call you by name?
💡 Quote
Jesus's resurrection is the beginning of God's new project not to snatch people away from earth to heaven but to colonize earth with the life of heaven. That, after all, is what the Lord's Prayer is about.

🕊️ Blessing
May you hear the Living Christ address you by name. May you know the resurrection embrace of a Teacher who calls us to love our enemies. May you know the life of heaven on the Earth.
Amen.
