This then is how you should pray…
Let your will be done.

🙏 A Prayer for God’s Will Without Certainty
God I am a mess
whenever I think about your will
I want to know — what is it?
What do you want?
Where should I go?
To whom shall I speak?
Really. What I wish for is
certainty. Are these
the correct quadrants?
And then.
As your Spirit reveals
my obsession
with certainty
as a fear of loss,
I hear a liberating voice:
Your Kingdom is built
less so
by what I do
more so
by how I do
anything, everything.
Let your will be done.
In every outcome
may I be
a person of prayer
a person of kindness
a person of hope
Here is my fear.
