A Reflection
A simple practice for living a Christian life:
Review your Calendar before the day begins.
Ask the LORD:
Which fruit of the Spirit are you cultivating in me through each of these appointments?As you lay in bed at night, smile and reflect. Consider God’s nearness and grace from throughout the day.
Soon enough, every moment will become an occasion for joyful obedience.
Slowly, you will build your house on the rock of wisdom and union with Christ.
A Prayer
LORD
My mind is cluttered
My day is lost
Simplify my world
May every moment have one ultimate end:
To love,
in mind
heart soul
and strength,
my God.
Amen
A Blessing
May you have eyes to see all of life as an act of worship.
May the diaper change and the evening wine
the load of dishes and the call to your mother
be one congruent act of love.
In the Name of the Incarnate One
whose heavenly glory dwelled
in Nazareth and Galilee
