See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!

🙏 Prayer

I am not who I was
I am not who I will be
I am beloved

I am not what I’ve done
I am not what I will do
I am beloved

If only these words
would travel
that long pilgrimage
from the head to the heart
from phraseology
to interpersonal reality…

I might be free
from arranging my life around
the insatiable misshapen desire
of people pleasing

Move me lord
from beholdeness
to belovedness

I am not who I once was
nor am I an idealized fantasy of who I might be
I am, here, now, the beloved
of Father Son and Holy Spirit

🕊️ Blessing

May you hear the voice of a Loving God
May His song drown out all the falsehoods and half truths that you tell yourself
You are a child of God
There is nothing to prove
Only love to receive and extend
May you reflect the Divine Light of unmerited kindness
