Lectio Divina
“Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.”
Joel 2:12
Prayer
O God of mercy,
I have turned away,
chasing after impulse and lie.
Yet You do not turn from me.
Your voice calls
through the murky night,
soft as breath, steady as dawn—
Here I am,
with all my tangled thoughts,
all my contradictions,
all my need.
Take my half-hearted prayers,
my restless spirit,
my weary longing.
Draw me back to You.
Amen.
Blessing
Dear one
May you know the tenderness of God,
who does not shame but welcomes.
May you return—not in fear,
but in the joy of being found.
In the Name of the One
Who Calls You Home
Amen.
Thank you, Mike.
Beautiful!
