Lectio Divina
You knit me in my mother’s womb.
Psalm 139
The body remembers what the mind tries to forget.

Prayer
God who breathes
life into dust
Remind me
as I rise
this early morning
My body
is not a project to fix
but the dwelling place
of Holy Spirit
Teach me
to listen deep
for the quiet wisdom
beneath my skin
the wounds that still protect
the muscles that remember
all that I have carried
And as I age,
may I take notice
Every change of skin and bone
they testify, day by day
of a steadfast
patient love
Blessing
Dear Friend
May you pause and consider. How your breath rises and falls. How your lungs expand and contract. May every inhale be a pathway towards grace. May every exhale be a letting go of what is not yours to carry. Your breath is a prayer. Your body is the sacred place where divinity and humanity dance.
In the Name of the One Who Took on Flesh
Amen
