Lectio Divina
Give us this day our daily bread
Matthew 6
Prayer
Lord
there are days
when the mind runs
unsettled
in ambiguity
seeking clarity,
resolution.
And yet
beneath it all
morning light still gathers
slowly across the kitchen table
coffee steams
between my hands
the trees quietly sway
without needing
answers.
God
teach me.
Not to abandon
this moment
for another.
If peace is possible
here, let me receive it
small and honest.
Each breath
each meal
is mercy poured out.
Though I walk through shadows
I do not walk alone.
Blessing
Dear Friend
Blessed are you
when you walk gently
within the discomforts of unknowing.
God’s grace is not waiting
on the other side of clarity.
It has already arrived
in the middle of it all.
May you seek first
the Kingdom of God.
In the Name of the One
whose goodness and love
follow all the days of your life.
Amen
