an unjust killing
from the violent hands
of tax funded state officials
is at the heart
of my religion
the sound of anger
a persistent lament
is the dominant prayer
of the Hebrew people
christ
you were well acquainted
with desperate prayers
for kingdom come
christ
you entered
the sorrows born
of injustice
and you wept
lord i ask
mourn with us
create beauty
through the raw material
