Lectio Divina
A Trinitarian spirituality leaves guilt and shame in the dust, re-centering Christianity on realization and rest. What finally motivates you in this spiritual life is gratitude, never fear.
Richard Rohr
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness.”

Communion means intimacy.

Triune God
At the first
it was the language
of math
and abstraction
more common
among academics
than artists
that made
such beauty
an afterthought
But this morning
I am delighted
again and again
as I imagine
the dance
Father
Son
Holy Spirit
Before Creation
Laughter
Listening
Love
Within Creation
Oh God
My God
One God
Three Persons
May I join
the Divine gladness
of knowing
and being known
Blessing
Dear Friend
The Triune God is not only a doctrine to be understood
but a communion to be enjoyed.
May your faith
be more than observation
of a mystery.
May your faith
not be a list of tasks
and claims,
but a life of beauty, wonder, and
unending communion.
In the Name of the Father, the Son,
and the Holy Spirit
Amen
