I ran into "Han" a few years back when I was doing some work on Romans 4 & Genesis 15. The "salvation" Abraham was yearning for in Genesis 15, if we judge by the context, was not from his own sin or from going to hell. It was his childlessness. In that very context his "faith was credited to him as righteousness." It was part of my argument that the salvation we need is MORE (not less) than salvation from the sins we've done.
